1Independent Contractor Status
- You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, agent, or representative of InsightScoop or Belly LLC.
- You control when and whether to accept offers and how to perform your work, subject to platform requirements and customer instructions.
- You may perform services for other companies; there is no exclusivity requirement.
- You are responsible for all taxes, insurance, permits, and licenses required for your business.
2Eligibility, Background Checks & Training
- Minimum age is 18 and you must have lawful work authorization.
- Background checks and identity verification may be required before approval and periodically thereafter.
- Required training, certifications, or safety modules must be completed to remain active on the platform.
3Access, Safety & Conduct
- You must follow customer access instructions and respect property boundaries. Access is a limited license for the scheduled service only.
- You are responsible for safe work practices and compliance with all applicable laws and local ordinances.
- You may decline or leave a visit if conditions are unsafe (aggressive animals, hazardous debris, weather emergencies).
- Professional conduct is required. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior results in immediate removal.
4Quality Assurance & Proof of Service
- You must follow visit steps, capture required media, and submit accurate notes.
- Visits are reviewed for quality and compliance. Failed QA reviews may result in required rework, reduced payouts, or removal from routes.
- Payouts may be reduced by 50% for quality issues where the visit was performed but did not fully meet standards (e.g. gate photo missing, sanitation step incomplete, poor-quality proof photos).
- Payouts are forfeited in full (100%) when a visit is not completed, steps are skipped, or fraudulent activity is detected. This includes but is not limited to: uploading fake or stock images, submitting spoofed GPS locations, reusing proof photos from prior visits, claiming a visit was performed when it was not, or skipping required verification steps. Such conduct may also result in immediate deactivation and forfeiture of all pending payouts.
- Repeat reliability issues (late arrivals, no-shows, missed steps) may lead to deactivation or route limits.
5Customer Ratings, Reliability & Account Status
- Every completed visit is rated by the customer on a 1–5 scale. Your 30-day rolling average rating and reliability score (computed from on-time arrivals, no-shows, late releases, and reconfirm timeliness) are shown to ops + you in your profile.
- Rating thresholds: a 30-day average below 3.5 may trigger a performance review, including a one-on-one coaching call. Below 3.0 may result in temporary suspension from new offers pending review.
- Late releases: using "I can't make it" too close to the visit (within 6 hours) is recorded as a discipline event. Three or more such events in any 30-day window may trigger account review.
- No-shows: a missed visit without prior release or "running late" notification is treated as a serious reliability event and may result in immediate strike + offer suspension pending review.
- Customer-initiated switches: customers may request a different scooper at any time. We track switches but do not penalize you for being switched unless it correlates with low ratings or reliability events.
- Appeal & due process: before any account suspension or deactivation tied to ratings or reliability, you will be notified with the specific events being reviewed and given a 7-day window to respond. Final decisions are made by ops based on the totality of conduct, not any single event.
- Right to good-faith ratings: if you believe a rating was given in bad faith (e.g., retaliation, factually inaccurate), you may flag it for ops review. Confirmed bad-faith ratings are removed from your average.
6Compensation & Payouts
- Compensation is stated in the offer and is payable only for completed visits that pass QA review and customer dispute windows.
- Payouts may be delayed for investigation of fraud, disputes, or incomplete documentation.
- Tips and bonuses are discretionary and may be adjusted for chargebacks or fraud.
7Equipment & Expenses
- You are responsible for maintaining a smartphone, data plan, transportation, and any required tools or protective equipment.
- If a starter kit is provided, it remains InsightScoop property unless otherwise stated. Lost or damaged equipment may be charged back.
- Kit cost is recovered through a per-visit deduction ($3.00 per visit for 20 visits). If you stop using the platform before the kit is fully paid off, the remaining balance may be charged to your card on file after a 30-day grace period.
- Card on File: By providing a payment method during onboarding, you authorize InsightScoop to charge the remaining kit balance if the kit is not returned within the recovery window (60 days of inactivity plus 30-day return deadline). You will receive email reminders at 7, 14, 21, and 28 days before any charge is applied.
8Data, Privacy & Media
- You consent to capturing photos, videos, and notes as required by visit workflows.
- All media and work product captured on visits is owned by InsightScoop for service verification, customer reporting, and quality analytics.
- You must not store or share customer data outside the platform.
9Insurance & Liability

- InsightScoop is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from your work, except where required by law.
- You agree to indemnify InsightScoop for claims arising from your negligence, misconduct, or policy violations.
10Termination & Deactivation
- You may stop using the platform at any time. InsightScoop may suspend or deactivate access for policy violations, safety concerns, fraud, or repeated QA failures.
- Outstanding payouts remain subject to QA, dispute, and fraud review.

12Updates
We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
